Going back to Montreal.

I freakin' loved Montreal. It's not a city I had loads of recommendations to go to, but once you're there, it's fantastic. It's Canada, which I'm a big fan of genetically anyway, and it's got a great feeling (if I was a dickhead, I'd probably write vibe).� It's a bit like San Francisco, with lots of hippy shops and a great comedy/theatre/music scene. La San Fran Francais, if you will.

It didn't hurt that it was beautiful weather, although it did hurt that Alex thought that everyone was mental for talking french, so refused to communicate with anyone except through me for the duration of our stay.

C'est la vie.
